Water Soup with Ice Shavings

Preparation
- The day before
- Boil 0.5 L water
- Freeze the water in a baker's trough
- Bring 2 L water to a boil
- Let simmer for 45 min
- Add 0.5 L room temperature water for flavor
- Stir violently and let reduce by about a fifth
- Pour into serving bowls
- Use a razor or "osthyvel" to shave the prepared ice on top
