Ingredients

  • Water

Preparation

  • The day before
    • Boil 0.5 L water
    • Freeze the water in a baker's trough
  • Bring 2 L water to a boil
  • Let simmer for 45 min
  • Add 0.5 L room temperature water for flavor
  • Stir violently and let reduce by about a fifth
  • Pour into serving bowls
  • Use a razor or "osthyvel" to shave the prepared ice on top
